Information you give us
When you use our Connect form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email, military, first responder, or Gold Star family status, your reason for contacting us, and your message. Veterans may tell us where they served and how they heard about us. Organizations may tell us who they serve.
Please do not include medical details or other sensitive health information in the form. If you are in crisis, call 988 and press 1, or text 838255. We do not monitor the form for emergencies.
We use this information to reply to you, to review requests to join or partner with us, and to run our programs.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address to send you updates. Our newsletter is sent through Mailchimp. Mailchimp stores your email address and tells us whether you opened or clicked an email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Donations
Donations are handled by our payment processor, Qgiv. Your payment details go to Qgiv, not to us. We do not store card numbers. We receive your name, contact details, and gift information so we can thank you and keep our records.
Store
Our store runs on Shopify. Orders and payments are handled on that platform under its own privacy terms.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, such as which pages are visited and how visitors find us. Google Analytics collects data like your device, browser, and approximate location. You can limit this through your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools.
Spam protection
Our Connect form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. Google may collect technical information, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.

Some pages and blog posts may include content from other sites, such as videos or social posts. Those sites may collect data about you and use their own cookies, just as if you had visited them directly. We do not control this. Please check their privacy policies.

We do not send direct mail.
Who sees your information
Only our team and the service providers named above, who help us run the site, forms, payments, and email. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and donation records as long as we need them to run our work and meet legal and tax requirements. You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time, unless we must keep it by law.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
